New header

I don’t really need to announce it as regular readers can see for themselves.

The pepinos have gone, to be replaced by more important things—my three gorgeous Girls, Cheeky, Lady and Molly.

Gosh they’re purdy. Great header and lovely logs for a lazy hen day! Do you think perches for hens are like hammacks for humans?

  Hi Chris, Thanks for that whole bagful of comments to this and the other posts. I won’t go back to the older posts and reply to your comments there (probably can’t find them anyway…don’t know why this blog doesn’t include a search function).
  
  Anyway…the girls seem to love their logs. Initially I suspended some low branches in there, but they wouldn’t use them, so I took them out. They used to gallop round the playground at top speed and since the branches were at about (chook) head height, I was always afraid that one day one of them would forget to duck.
