Watching asparagus grow

I just found a new blog which I want to share. It’s so nice to find there are people out there who think and feel as I do :

In Transition: exactly where I should be.

Thought of you yesterday. My landscaper has just started building my wicking beds. Soon I’ll be back into it!

Thanks Bev, I’ll have a look. The hope of finding like minded people is a major reason I read blogs. Regards, Specks.

Hi Specks, I recently updated my blogroll links on the right of the main page and will be adding this one in as well.

I made that change – thank you for alerting me that this was the case! I didn’t realize I had it set on only those with Google accounts. Richard is a fantastic writer, and I recommend all of his books highly! His blog is also great.

Hi, Bev! Thanks for sharing. I studied in Melbourne 10 years ago (lived in Parkville). I did not have an ecological mind then, but had a great time and drank a bit too much :-). So many beautiful areas around Melbourne that I’d love to explore again with my new mindset! Hope things are well there!

Hi Matt, what a lovely surprise to hear from you! I tried to comment to your blog but the only option was for a Google account which I don’t have and anyway nothing happened when I clicked on it. I’ve had this trouble before with Blogger blogs and there are usually other options like Anonymous, URL and Name, which allow comments from non-Google people. Maybe you could change the options and then I can comment.

The other good thing about finding you was that I found another good blog through your comments…What Is Sustainable….2 bonuses in the same day!
      ….
Things are well here, but verrrry cold at the moment!

That was a good read! Seeing someone recognise the importance of ecology, so much they want to base their life around it, is affirming. Somehow I made that my way of life too, when I initially thought I was trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of town. Only once you’re removed from it, can you find that inner tuning to the natural ecology, around you. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
